ML prediction of asphalt pavement ruttingp. 4
2.  Literature Review
2.1  Data-driven rutting models

Ensemble learners have repeatedly outperformed regression baselines when trained on field measurements of rut depth [4], [11]. Their advantage narrows, however, when a model trained in one climate zone is applied to another [12], which suggests that the training data, rather than the algorithm, sets the ceiling on accuracy [11], [17].

What it will not do

We would rather tell you now than have a reviewer tell you later. Each limit comes with what Hanova AI does instead.

Questions

Something else? Write to hanova.ai.research@gmail.com.

Will the writing pass an AI detector? +

We make no such claim. Hanova AI varies sentence rhythm, reduces overlap with your sources and shows an AI-likeness and overlap score for each section, but detectors are unreliable. Read and revise before you submit.

Where do my documents go? +

Your documents and projects are private to your account. The passages each step needs are processed to generate your text, and nothing is shared with other users.

Which journals does the literature search cover? +

By default, indexed international journals: the curated list used by the Leiden university ranking, which closely tracks Scopus and Web of Science. You can prefer or restrict publishers, name journals to search first, or switch the filter off.

Can I skip citations for a report? +

Yes. Citations only come from the papers you select. Select none and the document is written without citations or a reference list. For your own text, use “Polish my own text” with citations switched off.

What if a paper is not in the search results? +

Add it by DOI, paste its BibTeX (books and websites too) or upload the PDF in the Literature step. For paywalled papers, uploading the PDF gives the reading step the full text.

How long does each step take? +

Most steps take from a few seconds to about a minute. A literature search takes around 30 seconds and a 3,500-word draft a minute or two. You decide when to move on.

What can the AI chat assistant do? +

Ask it anything about your research: what a paper found, how two studies compare, where the gap is, whether a method suits your question, or how to tighten a paragraph. It can answer from your uploaded documents with page-level citations, use your project’s topic, gap and draft, and search the web on paid plans. Free accounts get 5 messages to try it; Basic includes 300 a month (30 with web search) and Pro 1,500 (150 with web search). Every chat is saved to your account and stays private.

Which citation styles can I use? +

All 21 styles on every plan: author–date (AAA, APA, APSA, ASA, Chicago, CSE, Harvard, MLA), numbered (ACS, AMA, CSE, IEEE, NLM, Vancouver) and footnotes (Bluebook, Chicago notes, OSCOLA). Change style at any time and the citations update everywhere.

Which AI model writes the draft? +

Hanova AI uses advanced language models. You choose the quality for each project (Fast, Balanced or Premium) and can switch at any time.

Is there a free plan? +

Yes. On Free you can run the research steps of one project on Fast or Balanced quality: topic, a literature search of up to 200 papers, and the deep-dive with the research gap. Writing, figures and export start on Basic (5 papers a month); Pro covers 25 with Premium quality, and Enterprise suits universities.

How do I contact support? +
